Essay

I'm writing an essay, and these are the things I am probably writing about..

Augmented reality is getting more and more popular. This device lets you model and manipulate in 3D, with use of glasses.

And this video has reached over 2 million people, I would say that makes it pretty important. If I don't use this, I'll probably write a bit about video games or 3D movies.

Influences

I will soon be making an influence map for dynamic communications, and I've really been thinking about the media that has helped lead me to this course. So here's a website I want to share with everyone. I'm tempted to say that it was the art on this website, by talented illustrator Jessica Peffer, that really got me interested in digital art and illustration.
The only other artists I can name that I'll be putting in to my map is Rodney Matthews for his fantasy art, and Rembrandt for his lighting effects and masterly talent.
I'll be filling up the other areas with games and comics from my childhood and those that I enjoy today.

Deviant Art

Here's a link to my traditional work (terribly low resolution photographs, sorry) over at Deviant Art http://bundydraw.deviantart.com/

Almost everything posted there is from my time at Shetland College UHI whilst I was doing the Art and Design course there. Some of the pictures are things I've done in my own time, but I tend not to upload those.

Hopefully future uploads will be at a better image quality, but they will still be photographs!

Hello world

I guess I'll start my blog by giving out this link - http://www.sweet-station.com/blog/ (sometimes there is quite mature content so I'm not sure if that is safe for work)

It's an art blog I sometimes visit, there's a real variety of stuff posted there. The content is really hit or miss to whether a person will enjoy it or not, but there's always something interesting there!
