I'm writing an essay, and these are the things I am probably writing about..

Augmented reality is getting more and more popular. This device lets you model and manipulate in 3D, with use of glasses.



And this video has reached over 2 million people, I would say that makes it pretty important. If I don't use this, I'll probably write a bit about video games or 3D movies.

Sintel

Here's Sintel, a short film made with Blender initiated by the Blender Foundation, I'm not certain who in particular made it, but there are credits at the end. Blender is a free to use 3D modeling program. I've used Blender a couple of times in the past to do some sculpting, but never really got to grips with it. This is inspiring.
